Meet Peter — The Heart Behind the Words

I never set out to be a poet. I began writing during the darkest phases of my life — not to impress, but to survive.
These poems are not polished for perfection. They are real, sometimes messy, always honest. They come from sleepless nights, tear-stained journals, and moments I didn’t think I’d get through. Now, I share them with you — in case you need a reminder that you’re not alone.

Every poem here is a piece of me… but I hope, in some way, they become a piece of you too.

Great book!
One of the things I enjoy most in life is reading a good book of poetry. And this book demonstrates what most people like about poetry. ''More Perspectives'' seeks to help you connect with your emotions. This book will make you believe in love and the power of laughter, and sometimes it will make you cry. I especially loved the following poems: “My Words,” “Dog Love,” “We Love You So Much,” and “Pain.” This offers a new perspective, a new light every day. These poems transmit healing and recharge your energy. I highly recommend this book, especially if you read one a day as a daily reflection. You won't regret it.

A thought-provoking work of art
I started reading poems because I found them inspiring and challenging. “More perspectives” is a collection of thought-provoking and heartfelt poems that inspires to think about life, love and the meaning of existence. I dare say that some of Peter’s poems reminded me of some feelings that I had in a special stage of my life. I truly loved those poems that talk about the importance of value ourselves - we're a gift of life and we should live our lives the most. There are poems that speak about perseverance, resilience and patience. Each of them encapsulates tender and important messages to us, readers. It’s a great work of art. I recommend it.

Honest, reflective, and quietly powerful
I picked up More Perspectives after reading Alevizos' first poetry collection, and i’m glad i did. His poems feel personal but speak to something we all feel, love, loss, wonder, confusion. There’s a raw simplicity to his writing that invites you to slow down and really think. Some poems made me smile; others caught me off guard with their emotional weight. You don’t need to be a poetry expert to connect with this, just human

An inviting poetry
In the tumult of our contemporary moment, poetry is an inviting, consoling outlet with a unique power to move and connect us, to inspire tears, joy, laughter, sadness, as well as surprise. Peter Alevizos proposes a second collection of 50 poems here that deal with different heartfelt and moving themes, and they are all equally well-written, entertaining, and great pieces of literature. Once I finished reading them, they started resonating in my mind as I was putting into practice some of the lessons learned. With grace and insight, Alevizos demonstrates how a poem can become a part of your life. His way of finding language to describe the details and intricacies and the shades of gray of the human experience has made me become a better reader, and, why not?, a better person.
